ABOUT US
Lake City Planners and Engineers was founded in 1977 by Chandan Maitra with a shared vision of defining a new emergent Indian architecture. Over the past 3 decades, the firm has evolved into a vibrant cross-disciplinary team comprised of Architects, Interior Designers, Landscape Architects, and Researchers, with diverse backgrounds and specializations. It is headed by architect and curator, Sayantan Maitra, who studied from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. With architecture offices in Kolkata and Durgapur, our work spans across eastern India. We are architects scenographers, artists, curators & interior designers providing a wide array of services.
